I'm thrilled to share an amazing story that has been unfolding at Austin’s Burritos going back to early 2018…. a story that's all about passion, dedication, and the magic of a loyal customer becoming an exceptional General Manager and friend. Today, I'm excited to shine the spotlight on Nathan Gamon, a name many of you might recognize from your visits to Austin’s.

Nate’s path with us wasn't just like any other customer; he was someone who savored what makes dining at Austin’s an experience… and took it to the next level. What made his visits to the restaurant unique is that he visited daily, Monday to Friday, five days a week, everyday without fault… for EIGHTEEN STRAIGHT MONTHS. His commitment became legendary and over time he became well known to guests and our crew. We even put a “VIP Reserved for Mr. Nathan Gamon” name plate at the seat by the window that he sat in each day, making sure he felt the love and that we appreciated him.

It goes without saying, but Nathan's enthusiasm for Austin's was above and beyond all expectations. So, when it became time in late 2019 for me to step away from day to day operations so that I could develop the brand further, Nathan was my first and only choice of whom to ask to fill my shoes.

The decisions to extend an invitation to join our team was based on his genuine passion for culinary excellence and his ability to connect with our wonderful guests. Nate embraced the opportunity with open arms, bringing his insights from his countless visits as a customer into his new role.

One of the most incredible things about Nathan is his knack for building meaningful relationships. His familiarity with guest preferences and his warm interactions have elevated the dining experience and he continues to foster a sense of community, making each of our guests feel valued and appreciated. And as a manager, his servant leadership style is virtually unparalleled. Our crew member turnover is almost non-existent, which is a testament to his management and our crew’s respect for him.

Nate’s commitment to excellence shines through in every aspect of his role. Whether it's ensuring the quality of our food, managing day-to-day operations, or spearheading initiatives to enhance your satisfaction, he approaches each task with dedication and a genuine smile.

Beyond the walls of our restaurant, Nathan has played a crucial role in engaging with the local community. His initiatives, such as charity events and collaborations with local businesses, reflect our shared commitment to giving back and creating a positive impact.

In June of 2020, I made him my business partner. He now not only manages a business that he loves, but he is also part-owner. It was the right thing to do for someone so committed to the brand, to our guests, and to the future of Austin’s.

Nathan's journey from a cherished customer to our dedicated GM and business partner is a story that resonates with the power of passion, dedication, and the unique bonds that can be forged in small business ownership. I am incredibly proud to have him leading our team, and I invite each of you to join me in celebrating Nate’s remarkable story.
